Collaboration in COVID-19 Crisis

My thoughts on what device and processes we need in this pandemic.

We need to have a test kit for “everyone” that will give instant result. A breathalyzer of some sort that is connected to the cloud.

If scientists were able to figure out ways to check our alcohol content threshold, trace our ancestors, and edit our genes, they have a pretty good foundation to find ways to detect the virus easily.

Perhaps, those groups could “collaborate” to create a device that will detect the virus instantaneously.

They can use the AI algorithms to run permutation tests to explore different possible solutions.

We are in an era where companies created highly optimized processes to manufacture products. Smart device /  hardware and medical companies could setup a build system in highly optimized facilities to crank up the production.

They can then leverage airlines to deliver the devices to all countries around the world — to every town.

To track the results, our company has the platform to dynamically track active records to help provide accurate data.

If one tested positive, the health care system could help create guidance to replicate the process used by health professionals to create a temporary isolation at home.

Because it is airborne, it is more risky to have people in one room at the hospital than isolating and treating our family members at home.

Then, we have more control of the situation and avoid panic. We’ll also avoid making assumptions that often cause stress or panic within our community.

Until we have a better detection device that will give us the result in real-time, the data won’t be accurate.

This is why data is important. It just needs to be used to improve lives.
